Kelab Budaya Tarian

为传承中华文化，发扬华族马来西亚民间舞蹈艺术，在广大师长及社会热心人士鼎力支持及培育下，使这项内涵丰富的舞蹈艺术，光荣迈入第三十一届。

今天， 我们20位学生代表学校去参加此项比赛，共有11队在中学组，竞争十分激烈。我们的舞蹈名叫“妞儿观戏”，是一种俏皮的曲风，我们所有人都很享受其中。我们是第二支队伍表演的，所以大家都非常紧张呢！

当天，我们所有人在学校开始练习和化妆，下午就开始去槟州大会堂彩排，做好最后的准备。

准备好后，我们吃着老师准备的 pizzas 作为我们的晚餐。

上场之前，教练，老师和我们一起拍了合照。大家一起对彼此加油打气，做好最好的准备。

我们很顺利的完成了表演，大家的脸上都挂着慢慢的笑容。在宣布成绩时，我们都带着忐忑的心情。最终，我们得了金奖！

最后，大家还各自拍了许多照片。

这就是我们一起努力赢来的荣耀奖杯！

我相信大家都很欣慰，不会后悔我们一起努力赢得比赛，一起验证成功的成果！

我们舞蹈学会已连续三年得了金奖，我相信接下来一定可以继续成为更好的，加油！！

Every year will held a wonderful school concert in August.

There are 2 performances from our club, that is traditional dance “妞儿看戏” and modern dance “G-buttons 2018”.

Thanks for those who take parts in this traditional dance. Every practice is hard but you guys also make it. Let’s us get the champion in Nov!!!

Our school was having Pre-Sale and also mini concert today. There were having two groups of modern dance performance in our club. There were Bboom Squad and X-plosion. We paid a lot of effort and time on our performances. Everyone is looking forward to our performances and enjoying them today! ! !

Today’s mini concert was a memorable and precious experience to us. We learned how to prepare the performance ourselves and became closer to each other. Let us work harder together to perform more and enjoy ourselves in the future! Our club is powerful! ! !

2017年11月24日 (星期五) 是第三十届拿督斯里许廷忠杯全檳舞蹈观摩会。今年，本校文化舞蹈学会派了由17个下午班会员所组成的团队——春风参赛;参赛歌曲为家喻户晓的福建民谣——望春风。话说，此项比赛是由檳州舞蹈协会主办和檳州艺术文化古迹委员会汇华机构拿督斯里许廷忠赞助。目的则是为了发扬文化舞蹈。这次有13支中学组舞蹈队伍参与，赛况十分激烈。当天，本校舞蹈员下午两点在学校大厅集合，共车出发前往比赛地点——檳州大会堂。相信大家心里都非常忐忑紧张，也很兴奋。抵达后，我们先聚集在外面等候彩排的时间。到了下午四时，我们移至主办当局为我们准备的休息室开始梳妆打扮。下午五时多时，老师替我们准备了晚饭。饭后，继续补妆，做好一切准备。上台前我们也不忘了在老师的监督下练习几遍。我们是第五支上场的。上场时，大家都很紧张但仍然表现得淋漓尽致。在一些状况下，大家都不慌，依旧保持着那张灿烂的笑容好好地享受这五分钟的舞台。其他学校的舞蹈队伍当然也不逊色，各队都非常出色。在成绩揭晓时，身为舞蹈团的一份子，我非常紧张，耐心地在台下等待。果然，努力终究会有成果的，我们名副其实地为学校荣获了金奖。大家都很满意，开心。回想起大家从年头到比赛来临的练习，付出，泪水，一切都值得。台上五分钟，台下十年功。这次的成绩要谢谢我们教练的教导和耐心，老师的劝说和付出及团员们的努力和纪律。当然，我们仍有很大的进步空间。在纪律和技巧上面，我们得加强。檳华女子中学文化舞蹈学会，加油!!

今年的文化舞蹈团事务也告一段落。感谢老师的付出，也感谢委员们的合作。今年处理的事务给予我们很好的教训与经验。

This year, there were two teams of dances from our club which involved in the school concert——traditional dance, named “春风” and indian dance, named “Let’s Nacho”. It was time to show our dance skill to the outsiders. Every members did great that night and we were in high spirits too! I sincerely hope that we can continue making more performances together! KBT BOLEH!

It was a great and memorable experience for all of us who involved that night. I’m looking forward for the performances next year! Jiayou KBT!  😛

It is the day of our modern dance competition! Early in the morning, the committees decorate the stage and arrange the chairs and tables in the hall.

We are happy as the competition is successful and everyone enjoy watching the participants’ performances too! Thanks to the participants for joining our modern dance competition this year and congratulations to those who win the prizes! It is definitely a memorable experience for all of us!

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration, the committee members of dance club 2016 had prepare a stunning performance on the 5th of February.

Here are a few pictures taken on that day.

As all can see, we performed a traditional dance this time, specifically on Chinese culture. Our aim is to promote our Chinese culture as best as we can, and to show the beauty of it.

*Fun fact* Fans are common used in the Chinese culture dance.

To be frank, we all danced happily to the music as it was more of a hip hop style chinese dance. We hope the crowd enjoyed it as much as we did.

Throwback to a sweet memory on 24th of September 2015

Our school team had once again sent out a team of dancers to participate in “Pesta Tarian ke-28” which allocated at Dewan Sri Pinang. A team of 14 proudly presented an Uighur tribe dance as it is one of the traditional dances around the world.

In addition, the costumes are red and black themed, red represented energy in our dance. where else black acts to highlight the colour red. Besides that, the long skirt is in toned colour. On top of that, high heels are worn by the team members while dancing, aren’t that jaw-dropping?! It’s impressive! They had brought it up to the next level, obviously.

To our surprise, our team had won silver prize and best costume in this competition. Every one of the team members were shocked to their max and were genuinely happy and excited about it. HIP HIP HOORAY!

We, team members, would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you who have continuously supporting us till the end of the journey. We hope to participate more in dance competition in order to make our school proud besides spreading good vibes.

On the 21st of March, our club had sent a team to participate in 第二届《舞步成诗》全国原创舞蹈交流赛. The seven members all aged 16, danced a song which is named 《少女日记1945》, triumphed after weaving a poignant tale about the suppression of women’s rights and freedom in ancient China. Combining energetic steps with tumbles on the floor and plebeian outfits to represent the fairer sex’s fight for equality, it struck a chord with the judges.

Is there really no choice but to cut off my braid?

Is there really a sky of blue besides all these misery?

We won’t give up on fighting for sex’s equality.

On the 21st October, our school had an simple yet grand ceremony for Ms Yeo’s retirement. Ms Yeo had always give lots of attention to our club, supporting us in all performances and competitions all these years. To show appreciation to our dearest principal, Ms Yeo, we’d prepared a Mongolian dance for her! As an AJK, I, on behalf of all members in Kelab Budaya Tarian would like to thank Ms Yeo for everything she’d gave and provide us and happy retirement! Not forgetting, good job girls!
