On the 21st of March, our club had sent a team to participate in 第二届《舞步成诗》全国原创舞蹈交流赛. The seven members all aged 16, danced a song which is named 《少女日记1945》, triumphed after weaving a poignant tale about the suppression of women’s rights and freedom in ancient China. Combining energetic steps with tumbles on the floor and plebeian outfits to represent the fairer sex’s fight for equality, it struck a chord with the judges.
Is there really no choice but to cut off my braid?
Is there really a sky of blue besides all these misery?
We won’t give up on fighting for sex’s equality.

On the 21st October, our school had an simple yet grand ceremony for Ms Yeo’s retirement. Ms Yeo had always give lots of attention to our club, supporting us in all performances and competitions all these years. To show appreciation to our dearest principal, Ms Yeo, we’d prepared a Mongolian dance for her! As an AJK, I, on behalf of all members in Kelab Budaya Tarian would like to thank Ms Yeo for everything she’d gave and provide us and happy retirement! Not forgetting, good job girls! Hi everyone! After a long and stressful PT3 exam, our club has received a good news.
That is, our club won the FIRST PLACE in CO-CURRICULUM BLOG COMPETITION (CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS) of the year! This is really an encouragement to us. Nevertheless, we would never get this award without your good comments below our posts. We truly appreciate your kind interaction with us throughout the year and we hope our interactions will last in the future. Last but not least, we would like to thank the school authorities for this award, the teacher advisors of our club and our supporters.
We will work harder in the future and let’s aim for the first place again next year!
On the 9th and 10th of August, our club had took part in Cultural Dance Competition which was held at Straits Quay. Two teams from our club took part in this competition which are Le Art Space A and Le Art Space B. B team won the Champion and A team won the 1st Runner Up! Congrats to our members! 😀

Our club have participated in Pertandingan Tarian Desa 2014（观摩会）on 14th of July this year. We’ve been practicing so hard for this grand competition. Miss Thow separated us into two teams, which are A team（凤鼎楚韵）and B team（勉女权歌）. And finally, we won two silvers in this competition.
I hereby representing A team and B team dancers to thank our club teachers Miss Thow, Miss Pow and Miss Cheah, for helping us in this competition. We are also appreciating our dance choreographer, Mr Tan, for his hardship in our dances. Thank you.
