Today, we continue learning Playing With Fire by Blackpink from our coach.

Finally, we finish learning the song and we had to dance row-by-row in front of the others. Besides, our coach helped to correct the wrong moves of the members too.

There is some videos which we had taken today but they cannot be uploaded onto our blog as their file sizes are too big. However, here is some informations about this song and I hope you guys can know more about it.

Yay! Welcome our new coach, Michelle who was our club’s president last year! It was our third meeting and there were some members who were absent due to other activities. However, we truly enjoyed ourselves on that day as we learnt a new dance, Playing With Fire by Blackpink, the newly formed kpop girl group. Our members were so excited knowing that we were going to learn this!

See, this is what we learnt! We will never give up on dancing. Even though we are not professional dancers but we love dancing and that matters!

Here is the original dance video on youtube:

As all can see, we performed a traditional dance this time, specifically on Chinese culture. Our aim is to promote our Chinese culture as best as we can, and to show the beauty of it.

*Fun fact* Fans are common used in the Chinese culture dance.

To be frank, we all danced happily to the music as it was more of a hip hop style chinese dance. We hope the crowd enjoyed it as much as we did.

Our school team had once again sent out a team of dancers to participate in “Pesta Tarian ke-28” which allocated at Dewan Sri Pinang. A team of 14 proudly presented an Uighur tribe dance as it is one of the traditional dances around the world.

In addition, the costumes are red and black themed, red represented energy in our dance. where else black acts to highlight the colour red. Besides that, the long skirt is in toned colour. On top of that, high heels are worn by the team members while dancing, aren’t that jaw-dropping?! It’s impressive! They had brought it up to the next level, obviously.

Up next would be a few pictures for all to enjoy.
