Our club have 3 performances during this year concert which are 凤鼎楚韵, 勉女权歌 and G-Buttons! ♥

We’ve grabbed two silver prize on Pertandingan Tarian Desa 2014!

During concert we’ve experienced a blackout before performance of G-buttons, and yet we were still make up and preparing. We were feeling nervous because some of our dancers’ make up weren’t done yet. We used flash light from hand phones  to light up the surrounding and continue to prepare. Luckily, about 40 minutes later, the electricity was back! 😀

President Lee Zhen Ying continued to teach the dance from last meeting which is Miss A – Hush. Members were following up well. 🙂

We helped our dance members of Pertandingan Tarian Desa 2014 to make their hair accessories. Wish them all the best in competition.

Fellow members, kindly note that there will be dance practices for traditional and modern contemporary dance during the two-week-holiday.

For traditional dance: 10:30 a.m. ~ 12:30 noon

For modern contempt: 1:30 p.m. ~ 3:30 p.m.

Venue: AVA (C8)

P/S: Dance practice on 28th of May is a replacement for the cancellation of dance practice during exam.

We have continued teaching Whatcha Doin’ Today by 4Minute which we have taught during the last meeting. After discussed with Miss Thow, we have decided to use this song for Teacher’s Day performance. We will choose Form 1, Form 2 and Form 3 members to perform. So juniors, kindly show your dancing skills on the following meetings so that you will be choose. 😀

Guys, dance practice for traditional dance and modern contempt on the 1st of May (Thursday) have cancelled due to Labour Day celebration. It will replace on the 30th of April (Wednesday), 10:30a.m. to 12.30noon and 1:30p.m. to  3:30p.m. Thank you very much for your kind attention. 😀

We have started our meeting today by warm-up as usual, which led by secretary Anfanny Ong. We taught a modern dance ‘Whatcha Doin’ Today’ by K-POP girls group 4Minute, which led by vice-treasurer Michelle Choong. During meeting, we have discussed about how to improve our school concert performances with Miss Thow, our teacher adviser. We have decided to upload the two songs to Facebook group, so that members can download and know the beat well. Our sixth meeting ended by the last practice of the dance.

We are here to update about cross-country race of our school which was held on 15 March. Our club have been chosen to lead warm-up before race. Three seniors from our club represents us. They picked the song ‘I Like To Move It’ and students followed them to warm-up.

We have continued teaching traditional Chinese dance from last meeting which is named 风酥雨忆. Although the dance is a bit hard for newbie, but most of our members like this traditional dance very much as the melody is nice and it shows our Chinese cultural. ♥ During meeting, we have discussed about National Day celebration performance. We have assigned our members into three groups including Malay, Chinese and Indian. We have started our preparation and we’re looking forward to it. 😀 Meeting ended up by our last practice of the dance.
